I really liked this dress.One problem - I liked it after I removed the built in "breast support" things that were sewn into the bust.I'm not sure if they designed this dress to wear w/o a bra, but since I never go bra-less, the little flimsy "foam-like support triangle cup thingees" just sort of floated over the top of my bra in a weird way.They were also clearly visible through the white fabric of the dress.Fortunately, there was an easy solution! I cut a quarter-inch slit in the inside of the breast area near each armpit. Then I yanked out the foam triangle thing (like a revese breast implant surgery - ha!), and then sewed the little snips shut.I did one extra step as well - I coated the cut fabric edges with clear nail polish (to prevent any nylon runs) before I sewed the holes up.
Result?You'd never guess that those bizare boob-foam things were ever in it.Total repair time: 20 minutes (including the ten for nail polish dry time).It was really quick; the hardest part was convicing myself that I, Ms. Non-Crafty-No-Skill-With-Needle-Or-Thread could actually do the job.Ha!
But hey, maybe you'll like the foam thingees and you won't even be interested in this!In any event - I had a great evening in this dress - I wore it to a "White Party" and believe me, my dress was one of the best/most flattering there (cause really - who looks all that skinny in white?) and I KNOW that it was probably one of the least expensive dresses there as well.Go me!
