I tried these bra cushions because I finally found a CUTE and affordable bra style that I like, in my size no less (cute DDs are hard to find at an affordable price!).I love the cups and fit, but it isn't outfitted with the wide cushioned straps that most full figured bras are usually equipped with.When my favorite bras are brand spankin' new, the straps are firm enough to be reasonably comfortable, but after a few washes the straps get flimsier and I'm on the verge of tears at the end of each day from them cutting in to my shoulders. Anywho...I got these straps hoping to make up for the standard (A, B, C) straps on my favorite bra and ...like the heading says...they're better than nothing.They do alleviate the cutting of the straps; however I wouldn't exactly call them super comfy either.If I had gotten these in the store for 7.99 I would be perfectly happy with my purchase.However, this item ended up being around $13 after shipping & handling fees and I think that's more than they're worth.
I'd recommend this item to anyone who either only needs a little cushioning support (A, B, C cups) or who (like me) just can't bear to get let go of their favorite bra.If you need something hard card (DDD+), I suggest you save up for a custom bra with appropriate straps.Even if it's ugly, your shoulders will thank you for it.
